At MFC Training, our top goal is to provide you the best possible flight training that meets your needs, your budget, and your time. Our dedicated admission team will work with you to review financial support options.

Some of the financial support options available:

Student Aid

MFC Training is approved for most provincial student loan programs in Canada. These are usually integrated student loans which means that they are a blend of a provincial and federal portions.

You initially apply through the student services program in your home province. Once you apply for the provincial side, you are automatically applied for the federal portion.

Financing

Information on financing or private student loan options is available with your banking institution. Most of Canada’s major banks have provided financing options for many of our students historically.

Scholarships

MFC Training offers scholarships towards the instructor program; these are awarded during at our Graduation Ceremonies (Wings Parade) each year.

PAL Women in Aviation Scholarship

To celebrate International Women’s Day and Women in Aviation week, the PAL Group is proud to announce the PAL Women in Aviation Scholarship. This scholarship will help the next wave of female leaders in the aviation industry complete their schooling and begin their career in aviation. This scholarship fund of $10,000 annually will be given to a prospective Pilot and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, will not only provides financial support, but also helps you join a community of passionate women shaping the future of aviation.

NBAM Irving Oil Aviation Scholarship

The New Brunswick Aviation Museum (NBAM) is extremely pleased to announce a scholarship program for high school students interested in pursuing a career in aviation and/or aerospace.


We are extremely excited with the recent announcement that St. Thomas University is introducing a Bachelor of Arts (Aviation Stream) in partnership with the Moncton Flight College Training’s Fredericton campus to start this Fall. For this reason, we are extending our deadline to apply.
Deadline to apply: June 14, 2024 at 4:00 pm.

Forest Protection – Xenia Morales Scholarship – Women in Aviation

We are committed to supporting women in succeeding in aviation.
The Xenia Morales Women in Aviation Scholarship offered by Forest Protection Limited is awarded to women pursuing a career in aviation as an aircraft maintenance engineer or agriculture pilot. It aims to provide financial assistance to deserving women passionate about protecting our natural resources while pursuing an aviation career.

  • Estimated Value: $5,000
  • Available Scholarships: One per year
  • Scholarship Year: 2024

Pilot applicant: If awarded to a pilot applicant, the scholarship will partially fund the total costs of completing a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or agricultural pilot training. Preference will be given to those enrolled in agricultural pilot training or with a clear career plan to work in a 702 operation.


Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) apprentice applicant: If awarded to an aircraft maintenance mechanic apprentice applicant, the scholarship will partially fund the total cost of completing approved training at a Transport Canada Approved Training Organization (ATO).

Please submit an essay of fewer than 1000 words, including:

  • A personal statement describing how this new opportunity would help advance your professional goals and ambitions.
  • Pilot applicants must include a statement about interest in 702 operations.
  • Financial need or other barriers you face or have overcome.
  • Involvement in the aviation community.
  • Other personal accomplishments.
  • Applicants must be a Canadian citizens or permanent resident to be considered. Preference is given to New Brunswick residents.

The successful applicant must provide proof of good academic standing or proof of enrolment in their program of study. The scholarship will be paid directly to the training institution.


Submit your essay to info@fpltd.ca titled “Xenia Morales – Women in Aviation Scholarship.” The deadline to submit is 28 June 2024.
